About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform sampling, testing, and analyses according to the Matrix of Laboratory Tests and QMS policies
- Prepare reagents, test solutions, and standardize volumetric solutions
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment
- Analyze and interpret standard laboratory test results, including statistical quality control charts
- Prepare and update reports related to analyses and uncertainty of measurements
- Maintain routine documentation including worksheets and log sheets
- Coach lab analysts, technicians, and trainees on test performance and sample preparation
- Ensure compliance with Quality, Health, Safety, Environment, and Energy (QHSEE) policies
- Manage waste disposal in compliance with environmental regulations
Requirements
- University or College degree in BS Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
- Licensed Chemist or Chemical Technician
