Laboratory Analyst

Responsibilities

• Perform release, stability, validation, and non-routine analyses for raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products.
• Record and document analytical data, evaluating results against established specifications and trends.
• Support laboratory investigations, including OOS/OOTs, RIAs, and environmental monitoring.
• Maintain and control the calibration status and proper functioning of laboratory equipment.
• Manage laboratory consumables, including reception, location, and supplier incident management.
• Support sample management for finished products, raw materials, and stability samples.
• Execute housekeeping activities (6S) and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with all Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) guidelines and waste segregation protocols.

Requirements

• Degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biology, or a related field (Quality Control/Analytical specialty preferred).
• 3-5 years of analytical experience within the pharmaceutical industry or a similar regulated environment.
• Proficiency with laboratory software such as SAP, Empower, Veeva, Lab X, or Global Vision.
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills, including experience with root cause identification and CAPA implementation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented laboratory setting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in drafting analytical reports and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Basic to intermediate proficiency in English.
