Laboratory Analyst

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze environmental samples for mold, asbestos, and indoor air quality contaminants
• Use polarized light and phase contrast microscopy for sample analysis
• Enter and report analytical data accurately using LIMS
• Perform independent data reviews and quality control analysis
• Maintain laboratory inventory and manage sample disposal
• Assist with Quality Assurance (QA) processes and laboratory accreditations
• Support technical inquiries and train new analysts as needed

Requirements

• BS or BA in a closely related science
• 1-2 years of laboratory work experience preferred
• Knowledge of environmental methodologies and analytical laboratory techniques
• Proficiency in laboratory QA requirements and regulatory standards
• Competency with computers, spreadsheets, and databases
• Professional working proficiency in English
• Authorization to work in the United States without restriction
