About the role
Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze samples with accuracy and precision in accordance to SGS' analytical SOPs
- Perform routine operation, maintenance, and calibration of laboratory instruments and equipment
- Assist with validation and MDL studies
- Investigate and prepare responses to client inquiries and CARs
- Input and maintain technical information to support laboratory operations
- Maintain Laboratory Notebook where applicable
- Adhere to internal standards, policies, and procedures
Requirements
- Associate Degree in Chemistry or a similar scientific discipline
- 0-2 years of experience in Analytical Chemistry Laboratories or 3 years of relevant sample preparation experience
- Understanding of basic analytical chemistry principles
- Ability to follow safe laboratory practices
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or a similar scientific discipline
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in Analytical Chemistry Laboratories
