About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform production chemistry and assaying using established methods and schedules
  • Operate and maintain analytical balances and prepare chemical solutions
  • Accurately weigh pulp samples and inspect for homogeneity
  • Maintain labware cleanliness and safely dispose of sample solution waste
  • Organize workload to meet turnaround time commitments and daily statistics
  • Complete required documentation, including logs and equipment records
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment following safety regulations
  • Report quality concerns and safety incidents to the Analytical Laboratory Manager

Requirements

  • Recognized diploma or degree in Science (Analytical Chemistry preferred)
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency with software applications
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team setting to meet strict deadlines
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Manual dexterity to perform repetitive tasks and good hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to sit or stand for up to 8 hours
