About the role
Responsibilities
- Detect and eliminate systematic errors in instrumental analysis processes
- Lead, coordinate, and monitor mineral analysis tasks with assigned personnel
- Ensure compliance with legal standards, internal Quellaveco norms, and work regulations
- Maintain equipment operability through cleaning, optimization, verification, and calibration
- Register technical information including work sheets, equipment control, and sample reception
- Manage immediate support for equipment troubleshooting and operation
- Comply with Quality, Safety, Occupational Health, and Environmental policies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Metallurgical Engineering
- Resident of Moquegua
- Minimum 1 year of experience in similar positions
- Knowledge of AA, ICP, and Infrared (Eltra) equipment
- Experience validating and reporting analysis under NTP-ISO/IEC 17025
- Experience in chemical mineral assay laboratory management
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC 17025:2017 quality management systems
- Familiarity with ISO 12743, ISO 10251, and ISO 11794 standards
- Availability to work on an 8x8 shift schedule
