About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support including data entry, report preparation, and managing incoming communications.
  • Manage office supplies, equipment maintenance, and assist with basic building maintenance coordination.
  • Support financial processes such as verifying invoices, processing purchase orders, and managing client invoicing.
  • Maintain Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) by updating client accounts, sample status, and work order details.
  • Coordinate sample logistics, including processing bottle requests, maintaining chain-of-custody documentation, and confirming shipments.
  • Assist with client service by responding to inquiries and providing status updates.

Requirements

  • Completion of Grade 12.
  • Minimum of 2 years of office-related experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Completion of an office administration certificate or diploma.
  • Working knowledge of LIMS (Laboratory Information Management Systems).
