Laboratorista

Responsibilities

• Supervise raw material inputs including cement, aggregates, water, and additives
• Perform concrete sampling as part of production quality monitoring
• Conduct basic aggregate testing (characterization, density, absorption, granulometry, etc.)
• Perform fresh concrete testing (temperature, slump, air content, setting time, and specimen preparation)
• Execute hardened concrete testing (compression testing of cubes, cylinders, and beams)
• Validate mix designs and perform daily reporting and data entry in logs
• Ensure strict adherence to industrial safety and occupational health standards

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Electromechanical Engineering
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Concrete Quality Control Laboratory
• Technical knowledge of cement, aggregates, and additives
• Knowledge of industrial safety and occupational health
• Proficiency in project engineering, quality control, and customer service

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in negotiation with clients and suppliers
• Strong proactive and self-taught learning abilities
• Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary environments
