Laboratorista Biodiesel SR

Responsibilities

• Execute technical activities and provide support/coverage for Junior and Mid-level Laboratory Technicians
• Ensure full compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 standards, including accreditation, audits, and inter-laboratory testing
• Manage laboratory contracts and requisitions, including maintenance, calibrations, and technical purchases
• Monitor analytical equipment performance and oversee Repê/Reprô analysis
• Manage laboratory inventory, service orders, and continuous process improvements
• Act as an Authorized Signatory for Biodiesel and support the technical development of the team
• Contribute to the creation, review, and improvement of technical methodologies and documentation

Requirements

• Technical degree or higher in Chemistry, Food Technology, Biology, Pharmacy, or Chemical/Food Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a biodiesel laboratory or an accredited laboratory environment
• Active registration with the CRQ (Conselho Regional de Química)
• Advanced knowledge in testing Biodiesel, Glycerin, and Fatty Acids
• Proven experience with ISO/IEC 17025 and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)

Preferred Qualifications

• Specialized training in ISO/IEC 17025
• Knowledge of ASTM, ABNT NBR, and BS EN standards
• Proficiency in advanced statistics, measurement uncertainty, and internal auditing
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills
• Basic English proficiency and availability to work flexible hours
