Laborant Bioanalytik

Responsibilities

• Independently perform cellular activity assays and ligand binding assays to characterize drug candidates
• Conduct cell culture work, flow cytometry, cell line development, and ELISA
• Assist in the development of new analytical methods
• Document all experimental work in an electronic laboratory journal (ELN) in English
• Evaluate data and communicate/present results within interdisciplinary teams
• Operate, monitor, and maintain modern laboratory equipment
• Optimize existing processes and introduce new technologies
• Manage general laboratory organization and routine cell culture (up to S2 safety level)

Requirements

• Completed training as a Biologisch-Technische Assistenz (BTA), Pharmazeutisch-Technische Assistenz (PTA), or a comparable Life Sciences qualification
• Relevant practical research experience in an academic or industrial setting
• Hands-on expertise in cell culture and cell line development (e.g., HEK293, tumor cell lines, primary cells)
• Strong knowledge of cell biological and biochemical methods, including flow cytometry, immunostaining, fluorescence microscopy, cell transfection, and ELISA
• Ability to quickly learn new laboratory software and equipment
• Structured, precise, and diligent working style
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
