About the role

Responsibilities

  • Analyze Ford's exposure to labor-related supplier risk by monitoring union activity, collective bargaining agreements, and industry trends
  • Develop labor risk assessments and prioritize suppliers based on business impact and disruption potential
  • Assess supplier business continuity and labor contingency plans to strengthen supply chain resiliency
  • Lead cross-functional coordination during labor disruptions, providing risk assessments and mitigation recommendations
  • Engage with supplier leadership to monitor labor negotiations and validate readiness activities
  • Support the development of digital tools and analytics to improve labor risk visibility and predictive capabilities
  • Drive continuous improvement of labor resiliency processes and reporting

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Labor Relations, Manufacturing, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Strategic Sourcing, Manufacturing Operations, Labor Relations, or Supply Chain Risk Management
  • Experience assessing supplier risk and developing mitigation strategies to support business continuity
  • Knowledge of unionized manufacturing environments and collective bargaining agreements (CBAs)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or Master's degree
  • Experience supporting unionized manufacturing environments
  • Knowledge of supplier risk management, business continuity planning, and supply chain analytics
