About the role
Responsibilities
- Analyze Ford's exposure to labor-related supplier risk by monitoring union activity, collective bargaining agreements, and industry trends
- Develop labor risk assessments and prioritize suppliers based on business impact and disruption potential
- Assess supplier business continuity and labor contingency plans to strengthen supply chain resiliency
- Lead cross-functional coordination during labor disruptions, providing risk assessments and mitigation recommendations
- Engage with supplier leadership to monitor labor negotiations and validate readiness activities
- Support the development of digital tools and analytics to improve labor risk visibility and predictive capabilities
- Drive continuous improvement of labor resiliency processes and reporting
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Labor Relations, Manufacturing, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Strategic Sourcing, Manufacturing Operations, Labor Relations, or Supply Chain Risk Management
- Experience assessing supplier risk and developing mitigation strategies to support business continuity
- Knowledge of unionized manufacturing environments and collective bargaining agreements (CBAs)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or Master's degree
- Experience supporting unionized manufacturing environments
- Knowledge of supplier risk management, business continuity planning, and supply chain analytics
