About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic guidance and hands-on assistance to Operating Units for managing complex global labor relations issues, contract negotiations, and proactive employee relations, with a focus on Argentina.
  • Act as an expert advocate in labor arbitrations and with government agencies, providing legal research and counsel.
  • Support the execution of global labor relations philosophy and partner with business stakeholders on strategy.
  • Enhance organizational competence through the development and facilitation of labor relations training and mentorship.
  • Serve as a guidance reviewer or project team member for compensation, disability management, and other HR project teams.
  • Participate in external labor relations forums to monitor trends, developments, and best practices.
  • Perform domestic travel up to 40% as required.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Labor Relations or Labor Law.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
  • University degree.

Preferred Qualifications

  • University degree in Law or Labor Relations.
  • Experience in labor relations and negotiating, preferably at a leadership level for local or national bargaining events.
  • Global labor relations experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships based on trust and respect at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience resolving difficult and sensitive disputes and providing employee and supervisor counseling.
  • Project management expertise and exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience in complex legal research, data analysis, and preparing detailed briefs or position statements.
  • Experience providing expert counsel in policy, contract administration, grievance processes, and discipline.
