About the role
Responsibilities
- Represent employers in employment litigation
- Manage all phases of litigation including discovery, depositions, motions practice, hearings, and trial preparation
- Provide employment counseling and advice work
- Handle traditional labor matters including arbitrations, labor negotiations, union avoidance campaigns, and NLRB proceedings
Requirements
- Experience representing employers in employment litigation
- Admission to the California Bar
- Outstanding writing, research, and analytical skills
- Strong academic credentials
Preferred Qualifications
- 3-10 years of experience in labor and employment matters
- Exposure to employment counseling and advice work
- Familiarity with NLRB proceedings and labor negotiations
