Lab Tester

Responsibilities

• Perform product and process lab testing on petroleum distillates, black oil, diesel, and water using Marathon and ASTM standardized methods
• Input laboratory results into the LIMS database
• Issue Certificates of Analysis for finished products
• Support refinery operations, terminals, and customers
• Drive a company vehicle to pick up and deliver samples
• Work a 12-hour rotating shift schedule

Requirements

• 4-year bachelor's degree in a science-related field from an accredited technical college or university
• Completion of at least four (4) college chemistry courses and two (2) college chemistry lab courses
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts

Preferred Qualifications

• Valid driver's license
