About the role
Responsibilities
- Direct program execution and lab test operations for the F-15 System Integration Test (SIT) team
- Manage team budgets as a Control Account Manager (CAM) under the Earned Value Management (EVM) construct
- Develop, coordinate, and maintain integrated lab test plans and schedules for complex projects
- Lead program baseline activities and estimate future work in response to Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
- Provide day-to-day bench scheduling assignments and mentor early-career engineers and technical specialists
- Coordinate lab bench upgrades, facility needs, and the sharing of test assets/avionics across multiple programs
- Ensure team test artifacts and contract deliverables meet quality standards and are provided to customers
- Identify risks, issues, and opportunities while developing effective mitigation plans
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field
- 14+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3+ years of experience leading teams and projects through influence
- Experience managing team schedules and budgets, ideally under the EVM construct
- Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required)
- Ability to obtain access to Special Access Programs (SAP)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing work scope in a laboratory test environment
- Experience in the defense industry, specifically with military fighter aircraft
- Background in avionics development and/or testing activities
- Experience as a Cost Account Manager including variance analysis and change management
- Proficiency with requirements management tools such as DOORS or MSOSA
- Experience working with the Boeing Quality Management System (QMS)
