Lab Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead component and finished product validation, reliability testing, and failure analysis within the gas valve manufacturing area
• Develop and execute validation plans for component and product changes in collaboration with R&D, Quality, and DQA teams
• Perform reliability and durability testing and prepare accurate technical test reports
• Participate in failure analysis related to manufacturing defects and customer complaints
• Maintain and update technical documentation for laboratory equipment
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Production, Engineering, and Procurement to drive continuous quality improvement
• Identify and implement opportunities for laboratory and process improvements

Requirements

• Strong mechanical engineering background
• Experience working within a manufacturing environment
• Structured thinking and strong problem-solving skills
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
• Ability to work independently with a focus on self-development

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in gas valve manufacturing or design
• Previous experience in a test engineering role
• Proficiency in measurement and testing technologies
• Statistical knowledge and experience using Minitab
• Knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
