Lab Technologist II

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to scientists in developing new technologies, formulations, and processes
• Perform bench formulations and conduct technical performance and product testing
• Run experiments, generate data, and analyze/report results in lab notebooks and reports
• Set up, maintain, and operate equipment necessary for product development and qualification
• Manage lab supplies and order new raw materials
• Ensure compliance with all lab safety and EHS regulations
• Serve as an active member of the Lab Safety Committee, conducting safety audits and reporting results
• Coordinate testing schedules and share results with Product Safety and Regulatory groups

Requirements

• High School Degree (college-level courses in physical sciences preferred)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a consumer goods or industrial lab setting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Knowledge of consumer product technologies such as paints, inks, coatings, or waxes
