Lab Technician/Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage general lab operations including maintaining stocks, inventories, and ordering
• Register and prepare compound stocks and prepare buffers/media
• Handle procurement, equipment acquisition, and receiving supplies
• Assist Biology and Platform teams with maintaining cell lines and performing cell-based assays
• Train or coordinate training for new members on company assays

Requirements

• BS in Biology or related life sciences field
• Minimum 2 years of experience maintaining laboratory operations for 10+ scientists
• Proficiency in mammalian cell culture and passaging/seeding cells
• Experience with cell-based assays and registration of inventory
• Experience with compound stock preparation, HTS, and phenotypic assay development
• Proficiency in plasmid design/cloning and PCR
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Experience managing sample inventories, vendors, EHS compliance, and lab safety

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of LIMS/database systems
• Experience with transient/stable protein expression and characterization
• Experience with immunoprecipitation assays
• Experience with flow cytometry or cell sorting
• Computational or programming skills
