Lab Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform physical, wet-chemical, and instrumental testing on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products using approved methods.
• Record raw data and final results into logbooks or computer systems (WebLIMS) to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
• Maintain laboratory equipment in a safe and clean condition, including troubleshooting and performing simple maintenance.
• Ensure the reliability of test results through the analysis of Standards and Statistical Process Control.
• Comply with site HSE policies, hazardous waste programs, and behavioral-based safety programs.

Requirements

• BS in Chemistry preferred (or related sciences), OR a minimum of 10 years of experience in a quality control laboratory environment.
• Knowledge of modern laboratory instrumentation and Statistical Process Control.
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
• High level of mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to work a rotating 12-hour shift schedule (two months on day shift, followed by two months on night shift).
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and the ability to work in a team environment.
• Willingness to work overtime and remain flexible to changing work priorities.
