Lab Technician

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples for analysis according to analytical SOPs
• Use basic instrumentation and analytical methodologies
• Perform routine operation, maintenance, and calibration of equipment
• Assist with validation and MDL studies
• Input and maintain technical information to support laboratory operations
• Maintain Laboratory Notebook where applicable
• Adhere to internal standards, policies, and procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a science field (Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, etc.)
• Minimum of one year of hands-on laboratory work preferred
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently or in a team
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 pounds
• Must be a local candidate (Miami-Dade & Broward)
• Ability to work any day of the week including weekends

Preferred Qualifications

• Analytical chemistry experience
• Experience with cryogenics, chemicals, vacuum systems, or pressure fittings
• Familiarity with physical chemistry and gas behavior
