Lab Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform pre and post silicon validation of PCIe, SD, and USB memory products with host platforms from various OEM/Chipset vendors
• Conduct initial failure analysis to identify root causes, distinguishing between test/setup issues and product issues
• Execute validation plans to completion and convert test scenarios into actionable test cases
• Perform SOC bring-up, feature validation, and ASIC/storage drive debugging using in-house and third-party tools
• Utilize latest standards and environments including oakgate, exercisers, and analyzers for FPGA and simulators
• Implement or suggest automation ideas to improve bring-up and debug methodologies
• Manage hardware tracking, maintenance, and the purchase process

Requirements

• Diploma or Engineering degree in Electrical/Electronic or an equivalent field
• Minimum of 8+ years of related experience in a lab or engineering support environment
• Proven experience in Pre and Post Silicon Validation
• Strong background in Failure Analysis and ASIC debugging
• Experience with SOC bring-up and storage drive debugging
