Responsibilities

• Prepare and troubleshoot DNA samples for sequencing, adjusting reagent combinations as needed
• Operate and maintain sequencing and liquid handling instruments; monitor performance and troubleshoot issues
• Review sequencing output, perform quality control, and conduct basic data analysis
• Follow safety protocols and maintain accurate documentation
• Coordinate with worldwide logistics teams and partners to ensure timely delivery of shipping consumables

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with DNA extraction, purification, and/or sequencing techniques preferred
• Ability to work in-office in Louisville, KY on a Tuesday - Saturday schedule (12AM-8:30AM EST)
• Ability to sit and stand for long periods and frequently lift, carry, push, or pull lab inventory
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proactive problem-solving mindset
