Responsibilities

• Prepare and troubleshoot DNA samples for sequencing, adjusting reagent combinations as needed
• Operate and maintain sequencing and liquid handling instruments
• Review sequencing output, perform quality control, and conduct basic data analysis
• Follow safety protocols and maintain accurate documentation
• Coordinate with worldwide logistics teams and partners to supply customers with shipping consumables

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with DNA extraction, purification, and/or sequencing techniques in a commercial lab
• Ability to work a non-traditional schedule (Tuesday - Saturday, 7 pm - 3 am)
• Ability to sit and stand for long periods and frequently lift, carry, push, or pull objects in the lab
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
