Lab Technician

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers in product design, development, and production
• Set up and conduct high pressure testing
• Conduct tests, record data, and create detailed test reports
• Perform daily QC testing of shaped charges
• Practice safe work habits in accordance with OSHA and company health and safety expectations

Requirements

• Two-year degree or equivalent experience in a manufacturing or mechanical field
• 2-3 years of technical background and knowledge of tool and machine design
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and schematics
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including bending, stooping, and standing

Preferred Qualifications

• Mechanical or technical certification
• Engineering Lab experience involving pressure and temperature testing
• Experience with light metal fabrication
• Mechanical or construction work experience
• Familiarity with API 19B Recommended Practices for Evaluation of Well Perforators
