Lab Technician I

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples for analysis according to SGS analytical SOPs
• Perform routine operation, maintenance, and calibration of prep instruments and equipment
• Assist with validation and MDL studies
• Input and maintain technical information to support laboratory operations
• Maintain Laboratory Notebook where applicable
• Adhere to internal standards, policies, and procedures

Requirements

• High school diploma
• 0-2 years of experience in Analytical Chemistry Laboratories or manual labor experience
• Basic mathematical, reasoning, and computer skills
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 lbs frequently
• English language proficiency

Preferred Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Chemistry or a similar scientific discipline
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in Analytical Chemistry Laboratories
