About the role
Responsibilities
- Conduct all laboratory work safely, including the use of proper PPE and adherence to site safety and 5S practices
- Execute lab testing and generate test data, documentation, and laboratory reports for assigned projects
- Communicate basic observations regarding data and experimental outcomes to Engineers and Supervisors
- Program robots and operate various curing and dispensing equipment
- Take ownership of assigned equipment and ensure safe, regular maintenance
- Report laboratory results and methods according to accepted company practices
Requirements
- Minimum of an Associate degree in engineering, chemistry, biology, or a related science field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and Statistical software
- Ability to gather, understand, and interpret chemical, physical, and mechanical data
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective teamwork
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, chemistry, biology, or a science field
- 1 to 3 years of experience working in a chemical laboratory
- Experience with polymer thermal, mechanical, rheological, spectroscopic, and microscopy testing
- Experience with test and data processing automation
