Lab Technician

Responsibilities

• Monitor and urge product testing processes to ensure accuracy
• Check and monitor all instruments in the Softlines lab
• Ensure laboratory results are delivered according to schedule and client agreements
• Manage PT, internal and external correlation testing requirements
• Develop and validate test methods, SOPs, and safety/quality documents
• Update knowledge on new standards, testing methods, and customer demands
• Provide technical support to Marketing, Sales, and Customer Service teams
• Assist in maintaining inventory of laboratory consumables and equipment

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in Softline lab testing (Physical, Colorfastness, Dimensional, Flammability, Fiber content, Footwear)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Textile Engineering, or a related field
• Familiarity with ISO 17025 requirements
• English communication skills at B level or equivalent
