Lab Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform quality inspections by preparing samples and executing analytical techniques according to protocols
• Interpret measurement results and record data in reporting applications
• Analyze and communicate deviating results to relevant stakeholders
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain analytical equipment, including troubleshooting and coordinating repairs
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards, including chemical waste processing and housekeeping
• Manage laboratory inventory by ordering, receiving, and storing supplies
• Support projects related to new testing methods, equipment, and measurement system analysis (MSA)
• Conduct statistical analyses and work within ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 frameworks

Requirements

• MBO 4 or HBO degree in laboratory technology
• Possession of a VOL-VCA certificate
• Proficiency in both Dutch and English (written and verbal)
• Practical experience with chromatographic techniques such as GC, HPLC, and GPC
• Experience with spectrophotometric techniques including FTIR and UV-VIS
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with SAP
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work both independently and in a team
