Lab Technician

Responsibilities

• Conduct analytical and sensory tests on in-process and finished products using standardized procedures
• Record, interpret, and enter test results into LIMS software and specified forms with high accuracy
• Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), and HACCP requirements
• Maintain laboratory equipment, perform troubleshooting, and take necessary corrective actions
• Receive, handle, and store samples and chemical substances according to Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and SOPs
• Identify and escalate data inconsistencies to appropriate personnel in a timely manner
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area and assist in training colleagues

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Basic computer operation skills and ability to learn specialized instrument software
• Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and work from heights, bending, or kneeling
• Ability to sit, stand, or walk for long periods of time
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree in an applied science
• Previous experience in an analytical laboratory setting
