Lab Technician

Responsibilities

• Partner with engineers on initial hardware bring-up and debug to investigate device performance.
• Support diverse projects through hands-on microelectronics assembly, board bring-up, and test execution.
• Perform precision soldering and assembly of custom evaluation boards, load boards, and interface circuitry.
• Assist in PCB and interface-circuit design and use Python or MATLAB to automate data collection.
• Maintain the lab environment, including equipment organization, calibration, maintenance, and EHS compliance.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Electronics, Engineering Technology, or Microelectronics (BAC+2 minimum).
• Hands-on experience with PCB design, creating schematics, and part selection.
• Proficiency in scripting with Python or MATLAB to automate measurements and process data.
• Experience using oscilloscopes, source measure units, power supplies, and spectrum/network analyzers.
• Skilled in fine-pitch SMD soldering and rework.
• Professional working proficiency in French (C1) and English (B2 or higher).

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in an electronics R&D or test environment.
• Previous experience within the semiconductor industry.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field.
