Lab Support Principal Engineer

Responsibilities

• Act as a Product Owner to define vision, prioritize the product backlog, and ensure the Security Operations team delivers value aligned with business goals
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
• Manage and refine user stories to translate business needs into actionable engineering requirements
• Monitor threat intelligence feeds and security advisories (CVE, CISA KEV, vendor bulletins) to identify emerging high-risk vulnerabilities
• Manage and maintain enterprise endpoint security solutions (Antivirus/EDR/XDR) across Windows and Linux devices within the Engineering Environment
• Serve as the primary point of contact between stakeholders and the Security Operations team, monitoring performance via KPIs and analytics

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional experience in security or engineering roles
• Proven experience with vulnerability management systems such as Rapid7 or Tenable
• Experience integrating security into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub
• Hands-on experience with SIEM and EDR/XDR platforms (e.g., Splunk, Carbon Black, Crowdstrike)
• Familiarity with security compliance frameworks including NIST, ISO, or CIS
• Knowledge of automation concepts using APIs, JSON, PowerShell, or Python basics
• Experience driving KPIs and metrics for patch compliance and critical vulnerability management

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience defining multi-year roadmaps and managing complex cross-functional programs
• Proficiency with data and project tools such as Power BI, JIRA, ESM, or Grafana
• Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, Security+, or RSMPO
