Lab Sample Intern

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify sample requests from customers and sales teams to ensure accurate data entry.
• Sort, pack, and label samples according to specifications and safety requirements.
• Arrange sample shipments, track logistics, and provide timely updates on delivery status.
• Maintain sample inventory records, perform regular stock counts, and manage documentation.
• Prepare flavor samples according to specific formulas, ensuring accurate weighing and standardized operations.
• Manage raw material usage, including requisition, returns, and monitoring low stock levels.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment such as electronic balances and mixers.
• Perform basic quality checks on prepared samples, including scent, color, and physical state.

Requirements

• High school diploma, vocational school diploma, or above.
• Detail-oriented with strong manual dexterity for precise weighing and data recording.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel for data entry and basic reporting.
• Normal sense of smell with basic ability to identify scents (non-smoker, no rhinitis).
• Strong sense of responsibility and awareness regarding confidentiality and formula security.
• Ability to learn sample management, warehousing, and laboratory processes quickly.

Preferred Qualifications

• Educational background in Chemistry, Food Science, Biology, or Pharmacy.
• 1–2 years of experience in sample management, warehouse management, or laboratory preparation.
• Basic English reading and writing skills to understand English formulas or sample names.
