About the role

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate day-to-day operations for research studies in the BAAC and Jonides Labs
  • Manage participant recruitment, scheduling, and compensation processes
  • Assist with IRB-related materials, including amendments, renewals, and consent documents
  • Oversee administrative operations such as lab meetings, agendas, and shared calendars
  • Organize research documentation, data collection workflows, and project records
  • Prepare data summaries, figures, and tables for grants, reports, and presentations
  • Coordinate onboarding, training, and scheduling for 15-20 undergraduate research assistants

Requirements

  • High school diploma or Associate's degree
  • 1-2 years of experience working in a research lab setting (e.g., psychology, neuroscience, or behavioral research)
  • Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines independently and collaboratively

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology or a related field
  • Experience coordinating human subjects research and IRB documentation
  • Familiarity with behavioral research software or data analysis tools (e.g., Qualtrics, PsychoPy, R, or Python)
  • Prior experience training or coordinating undergraduate research assistants
