About the role

Responsibilities

  • Assist in experimental development, stimulus generation, and the IRB/MRI facility approval process
  • Recruit, schedule, and test participants for behavioral, fMRI, and patient experiments
  • Conduct data transfer, quality assurance, preprocessing, and analysis using LINUX and Mac-based software
  • Manage laboratory administration, including purchasing, record keeping, and IRB protocol adherence
  • Maintain data backups and prepare data for publication
  • Oversee laboratory equipment maintenance, repairs, and ordering
  • Train and support lab personnel and undergraduate research assistants in laboratory procedures and research techniques
  • Assist in the preparation of reports for grant funding agencies

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in cognitive science, neuroscience, computer science, psychology, or a related field
  • At least 3 years of related research experience
  • Strong analytical, data collection, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment background check
