Lab Lead

Responsibilities

• Manage and implement engineering lab strategic projects and day-to-day administrative functions
• Provide direction for lab users on Lab Operating Procedures (LOP) and established policies
• Coordinate Environment Health Safety (EHS), sustainment, property, and metrology management
• Perform cost analysis and ensure tasks are completed within approved budgets
• Oversee audit and assessment preparation, including corrective action plans
• Safeguard classified and proprietary material, hardware, and documentation
• Develop and implement communication plans to influence stakeholders and engineering management

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
• Experience in an engineering lab environment (safety, security, compliance, or property management)
• Active DoD Secret security clearance required on day one
• U.S. citizenship is required

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong mechanical and/or electrical/electronic skills
• Experience with OSHA/NFPA industrial policies and regulations
• Experience with EHS, NISPOM, JAFAN, and Foreign Object Elimination
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Laser Safety Officer certification
• Ability to build positive, lasting relationships with customers and leadership
