Lab Lead

Responsibilities

• Manage Lab Operating Procedures (LOPs) and provide direction for lab users on established policies
• Coordinate and implement Environmental Health, Safety, and Sustainment programs
• Oversee Property & Metrology Management to ensure compliance with standards and regulations
• Conduct cost analyses and ensure task completion within approved budgets
• Lead Engineering Lab Objective Evaluations and develop corrective action plans
• Safeguard classified and proprietary materials in compliance with Export Administration Regulations
• Influence stakeholders regarding policies, practices, and procedures

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
• Experience working directly with engineers, technicians, and leadership in an engineering lab environment
• Active DoD Secret security clearance required on day one
• U.S. citizenship is required

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong mechanical and/or electrical/electronic skills
• Experience with OSHA/NFPA industrial policies and regulations
• Experience with EHS, NISPOM, JAFAN, and Foreign Object Elimination
• Strong understanding of Metrology and calibration practices
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
