Lab Instructor - Diesel

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain diesel labs, equipment, and materials to support instructional activities
• Ensure a safe and organized lab environment in compliance with established safety standards
• Assist faculty with technical demonstrations and provide supervision during lab sessions
• Guide and support students in developing essential hands-on diesel skills
• Monitor equipment, manage supplies, and report any maintenance needs to the department chair

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Certificate in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Previous experience in a classroom, lab, or industry setting
• Computer literacy and strong organizational skills
• Effective communication skills, including public speaking ability

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in a related field
• Previous experience teaching at the college or high school level
