Lab Director

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic, operational, and administrative leadership for the Center for Modern Digital Health and the Health and Human Performance Laboratory.
• Oversee research pipelines, including project development, participant recruitment, data collection, and analysis.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to optimize lab operations and research integrity.
• Ensure compliance with IRB protocols, federal regulations, and university policies.
• Manage research spending across awards and collaborate on grant submissions and budget justifications.
• Supervise project managers and administrative staff, fostering a collaborative and inclusive lab culture.
• Oversee data management systems to ensure data integrity, security, and support open science initiatives.

Requirements

• Master's degree required.
• 1-3 years of experience in research, research lab management, or methodology.
• Proven experience in data collection and analysis.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment background check.
• Must be currently legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
