Lab Business Analyst

Responsibilities

• Serve as a liaison between business users, IT Application Analysts, and Operations Analytics to design, test, and implement laboratory system solutions.
• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements to translate needs into system design solutions.
• Execute project tasks including analysis, design, testing, validation, user training, and post-go-live support.
• Perform functional testing and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with end users.
• Provide production support by troubleshooting system issues and recommending appropriate courses of action.
• Develop and maintain SOPs and training materials to support system adoption.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders and external vendors to support assigned initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field; or Associates Degree and 2 years of relevant experience; or High School Diploma/GED and 4 years of relevant experience.
• 2 years of experience as a business analyst supporting processes in ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Experience working as an analyst in an operations, supply chain, or manufacturing environment.
• Experience implementing business processes and systems during mergers and acquisitions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Computer Science, or Management Information Systems.
• Proficiency in Atlassian tools (Confluence, Jira, and Zephyr) or other digital project management platforms.
• Experience with AI platforms for developing practical agentic solutions.
• Experience in a biotech or life sciences manufacturing environment (cGMP, ISO 13485, or CLIA).
• Experience with Computer Systems Validation (CSV) processes and change control.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
• Experience with SAP Fiori apps.
