Lab Associate

Responsibilities

• Perform routine analysis of specimens and document results in accordance with SOPs and regulatory guidelines
• Evaluate analytical data for accuracy using laboratory systems and defined algorithms
• Identify unusual results or performance issues and escalate to senior lab personnel
• Prepare buffers, reagents, and solutions required for laboratory analysis
• Maintain proper storage and handling of samples and reagents post-analysis
• Support the development and documentation of laboratory procedures and techniques
• Maintain laboratory cleanliness and organization in alignment with 6S standards
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams regarding workflow and results

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (some locations may require a Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, or medical laboratory technology)
• 6 months of relevant laboratory experience or an equivalent combination of education and training
• Basic knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and regulatory standards
• Familiarity with laboratory instrumentation, equipment, and analytical techniques
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform frequent standing, walking, and close eye work
