Lab Analyst

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze samples according to SGS analytical SOPs using specific instrumentation
• Perform routine operation, maintenance, and calibration of laboratory instruments and equipment
• Assist with validation and LOQ studies
• Support investigations and prepare responses to client inquiries and CAPs
• Maintain technical information and laboratory notebooks
• Adhere to internal standards, policies, and safety procedures

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Chemistry or similar scientific discipline with 0-2 years of experience, or 3 years of relevant experience
• At least one year of sample preparation experience
• Advanced English language skills
• Basic reasoning, mathematical, and computer skills
• Ability to lift/carry/push/pull up to 25 lbs frequently

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or similar scientific discipline with 1-2 years of relevant experience
• 6 months to 1 year of experience with HPLC or ICP
• Gas Chromatography experience
