Lab Analyst I - Semi-volatiles

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze samples according to SGS analytical SOPs using specific instrumentation
• Perform routine operation, maintenance, and calibration of laboratory instruments and equipment
• Assist with validation and MDL studies
• Support investigations and prepare responses to client inquiries and CARs
• Maintain technical information and laboratory notebooks
• Adhere to internal standards, policies, and safety procedures

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Chemistry or similar scientific discipline with 0-2 years of analytical chemistry lab experience, or 3 years of relevant sample prep experience
• Proficient English language skills
• Basic mathematical and reasoning skills
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 lbs frequently

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or a similar scientific discipline
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in Analytical Chemistry Laboratories
