L1 Hardware Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform CCTV camera installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
• Manage networking tasks including LAN/WAN, switches, routers, and gateways
• Execute laptop and desktop hardware repair and maintenance
• Provide mobile phone troubleshooting and peripheral support (printers/scanners)
• Handle structured cabling, trunk/patch management, and ISP coordination
• Support general IT infrastructure and resolve internet connectivity issues

Requirements

• Diploma, Associate Degree, or Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field
• Strong understanding of computer hardware components and troubleshooting
• Proficiency with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications
• Knowledge of basic networking concepts such as TCP/IP, LAN, and Wi-Fi
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with strong problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• CompTIA A+, IT Support, or similar industry certifications
• Experience using ticketing systems and IT asset management tools
• Exposure to Active Directory, Microsoft 365, or endpoint management solutions
