KYC Senior Analyst

Responsibilities

• Conduct end-to-end KYC operations, including Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) for new and existing clients in the EMEA region.
• Perform risk assessments and suitability checks, including screening for bribery, corruption, adverse media, and sanctions.
• Review complex ownership structures and organizational documents such as MOA, AOA, and COI.
• Manage periodic KYC reviews and event-driven reviews to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Act as a subject matter expert to provide guidance on first-level escalations and exception scenarios.
• Liaise directly with clients, relationship managers, sales teams, and onshore stakeholders to facilitate the onboarding and review process.
• Ensure all due diligence activities are completed within required SLAs and in accordance with standard operating procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in any stream.
• Strong end-to-end KYC knowledge for low, medium, and high-risk clients.
• Proven experience reviewing complex ownership structures and various client types (Financial Institutions, Corporates, Trusts, etc.).
• Strong working knowledge of AML and Sanctions laws and regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize workflow in a fast-paced, demanding environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in AML Compliance and KYC within the financial services industry.
• Experience conducting EDD on foreign financial institutions.
• AML/KYC domain certifications or diplomas.
• Familiarity with Actimize or other financial crime and risk compliance applications.
