KYC Operations Senior Analyst

Responsibilities

• Review and assess high-risk customer reports to provide analysis and approval according to set policies.
• Conduct enhanced due diligence (EDD) and analyze customer transaction history and behavior patterns.
• Perform in-depth analysis using external sources, company registries, and third-party vendors to ensure customers meet risk appetite.
• Communicate with internal teams to handle escalated or complicated cases.
• Provide guidance and responses to daily inquiries from peers and management regarding high-risk approvals.
• Draft SAR narratives to report unusual activity when warranted.
• Support internal and external audits and regulatory process reviews.
• Mentor and support other analysts by providing training and coaching.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in EDD, AML, or a similar Financial Crime compliance role.
• Excellent verbal and written English skills.
• Strong understanding of AML/CFT regulations and the ability to document reasoning effectively.
• Ability to work night shifts (including early-night, mid-night, and late-night) and weekends.
• Must have the full, unrestricted right to work in Estonia.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to adhere to strict KPIs in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as ICA, CAMS, or equivalent EDD/AML focused credentials.

Benefits

• Monthly salary between 2400 - 2850 EUR gross.
• Night shift premium of 1.25x base salary for all hours worked between 22:00–06:00.
