KYC Operations Expert

Responsibilities

• Perform holistic alert analysis by reviewing and evaluating sanctions, PEP (Politically Exposed Persons), and adverse media alerts.
• Manage structured escalations by identifying risk-relevant issues and forwarding them to specialized AFC departments.
• Drive operational excellence by identifying optimization potential to increase process efficiency and analysis quality.
• Conduct thorough KYC and onboarding document checks to ensure seamless and compliant new customer identification.

Requirements

• Proven experience in AML or KYC (career changers from high-volume environments are also welcome).
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
• A detail-oriented approach with the ability to balance quality and quantity in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to prioritize workflows and ensure strict adherence to deadlines.
• Fluency in both German and English (minimum C1 level).
• High personal interest in Anti-Financial Crime and experience in a regulated environment is a plus.
