KYC Operations Analyst

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial and ongoing Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) reviews.
• Verify customer information, identity documents, and complex business structures to mitigate risk.
• Monitor customer transaction history to identify patterns that may indicate financial risk.
• Maintain accurate and organized customer records in compliance with data privacy regulations.
• Perform risk assessments and escalate suspicious activities or potential money laundering to relevant teams.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to policy updates and standard operating procedures.
• Communicate effectively with customers via phone, email, and chat to resolve onboarding or compliance queries.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Operations, preferably within CDD, EDD, AML, or compliance roles.
• Working knowledge of global KYC/AML compliance regulations and standards.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and make decisions using a risk-based approach.
• Flexibility to work in shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
