KYC Manager

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth due diligence and maintain regulatory KYC documentation for high-risk corporate clients in compliance with global financial regulations.
• Provide technical KYC support to the Corporate Bank Relationship Team and liaise with Relationship Directors to gather sensitive information.
• Analyze complex company structures, including Trusts, Charitable Organisations, and Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs).
• Identify operational improvements and implement controls to mitigate risk and maintain efficiency.
• Manage high-priority cases within target SLAs, ensuring a "right first time" approach to client reviews.
• Collaborate with internal functions such as Financial Crime, Wealth, and Coverage to deliver a seamless client experience.

Requirements

• Proven end-to-end KYC knowledge with specific experience in high-risk reviews.
• Expertise in Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) and reviewing complex ownership structures.
• Strong understanding of global KYC policies and relevant legislation (e.g., Money Laundering, Data Protection Act).
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills for interacting with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, particularly when working with Front Office and Financial Crime teams.
• Exceptional analytical skills with high attention to detail and the ability to make evaluative judgments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within a Financial Crime operational background.
• Knowledge of high-risk jurisdictions and specialized industry sectors such as Gaming, Gambling, or Defense.
• Ability to manage complex workloads effectively under pressured timescales.
