KYC Controls & Data Insights Manager

Responsibilities

• Analyse KYC data in response to known typologies, incidents, SAR feedback, fraud intelligence, and audit issues
• Assess the visibility of financial crime risks within KYC onboarding and reKYC data to identify affected populations
• Review the effectiveness of current KYC controls, including onboarding rules, ID&V outcomes, screening, and KYB checks
• Translate analytical findings into practical recommendations for onboarding rules, SpDD triggers, and manual review guidance
• Maintain a feedback loop between KYC Policy and teams such as Fraud, Risk, Product, and Engineering
• Support Product and Engineering teams with requirements for implementing KYC control changes

Requirements

• Proven experience in data analysis, pattern recognition, or control effectiveness assessment using large datasets
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, or similar data tools (experience with Looker is a strong plus)
• Strong background in Financial Crime, AML, fraud risk, or onboarding risk
• Deep knowledge of KYC/KYB, CDD, EDD/SpDD, screening, and ID&V processes
• Understanding of onboarding abuse, organized fraud, mule activity, and synthetic identity risks
• Ability to communicate complex, data-led findings clearly to non-technical audiences
