KYC Analyst

Responsibilities

• Conduct end-to-end KYC operations, including Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) for new and existing clients.
• Perform periodic reviews and ad-hoc reviews for MUFG Bank and MUFG Securities bookings across the EMEA region (e.g., Dubai, Milan, Paris, London).
• Focus on high-priority client types including Financial Institutions, Banks, Correspondent Banks, and NBFIs.
• Execute screening for Bribery, Corruption, Adverse Media, and Sanctions to identify potential reputational or PEP risks.
• Review complex ownership structures and organizational documents such as MOA, AOA, and COI.
• Liaise directly with Clients, Relationship Managers, Sales, and onshore teams to facilitate the onboarding and outreach process.
• Ensure all due diligence is completed within required SLAs and escalate true hits or adverse findings to management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in any stream.
• 2 to 4 years of experience in AML Compliance and KYC, preferably within the financial services industry.
• Proven experience conducting EDD on foreign financial institutions and reviewing complex ownership structures.
• Strong working knowledge of AML and Sanctions laws and regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with front-office stakeholders and clients.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, demanding environment while maintaining high attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• AML/KYC domain certifications or diplomas.
• Familiarity with Actimize or other financial crime, risk, and compliance applications.
• Experience with Wolfsberg Questionnaires and various organizational documentation.
